Mr C: Holy crap, we’re 8 days off from the show!!! We missed last week’s update as we had another busy weekend going down to London to do the mock show for Audrey Kaipio’s course. That was a tough day for me and knocked my confidence a bit, but that is also the point of it in some ways so I’m ok with it! The posing is probably the thing I’m most nervous about and is definitely a weaker point for me. Still, there’s always something to work on! Food is getting a bit tougher now, with cravings kicking in now we are getting closer to the end and more depleted. Just counting down the seconds until some naughty food now! I’ve actually been enjoying the exercise side a bit more actually, and have generally been feeling pretty positive overall. Looking forward to putting it all into practice soon..
Mrs C: I cannot begin to describe how excited and nervous I am all at the same time! The past 15 weeks have flown by and whilst I am feeling tired and in need of some naughty food I am feeling good going into peak week. The water loading has started and I am therefore feeling quite heavy and bloated and the extra low carbs have got my cravings kicking off but I am not about to start cheating now! My posing routine is getting neater and I am feeling more confident in my walk and stage presence. I don’t think you ever feel ready to compete, there will always be things you want to improve but generally speaking I feel that prep has gone well and I am excited about getting on stage and enjoying my moment!
