Mr C: This week has been a bit of a blur to be honest. I was away with work earlier in the week and haven’t really caught up since! But diet and training has all been fine, so that’s good, even if I’m not getting enough sleep. I’m starting to really feel the lower calories over the last couple of days so getting hungry quite a lot. I hear that there’s a lot more white fish and asparagus on the next plan (in a couple of weeks), which I’m dreading but knew would be the case..! I’ve had to shift my gym time around a bit because of the work trip, but as long as I get a cardio and PT session in tomorrow, as planned, then I’m all done. Next week I’ve got another couple of work trips, but only daytime things this time so I should be fine (Iso Bag at the ready!!). Fortunately my gym has branches in both my meeting locations so I can go super early, miss the traffic and get a workout in before my meeting. So things are going quite well, though I’m not looking forward to it getting progressively more intense as we go along!
Mrs C: I have had to struggle through my mind trying to hurt me again this week. Some personal matters have got to me and I found myself having an anxiety attack over it all. Its never easy when you suffer with any kind of mental illness but I have to fight against it otherwise it just consumes me. My training has been perfect.. I pushed myself very hard at the beginning of the week and I had a very heavy shoulders and arms session later this week with my trainer which has meant by the end of the week I am in bits!! But its all good pain so just got to use my rest days to recover. Our story went viral again this week and I have had a lot of people asking me for advice and support. Its been good for me to see that I can help to motivate and inspire people but taking the time to reply to everyone can be quite draining. My diet has been perfect… on a couple of days my water consumption has been a little lower than it should be but otherwise no cheating… Although I have had cravings towards the end of the week and I am feeling the effect of the lack of calories now. I feel generally quite tired but I also know that I haven’t really been getting enough sleep to I need to work on that. It dawned on me this week how quickly this prep is going to fly by and we are already 2 weeks into it. 14 weeks until the first show!! I am very excited and this week I got to see my stage bikini for the first time. Its been made by La Diva Design and its a work of art. I cant wait to wear it on stage… it deserves the best physique so I feel motivated even more to work as hard as I can.
