Mrs C: Well, its been a crazy couple of weeks and it feels as though I haven’t had time to even breathe let alone sleep!! Updating the blog has been impossible the last couple of weeks but I have made the conscious effort to do it today! The last week has been the hardest by far… not because of the diet or the training being tough but because of the logistics of fitting everything in. I had to go on a training course this week that meant me working 2 extra days in work and I have also had the care of my daughter full time as her Dad wasn’t able to look after her, with juggling work and extra childcare and training it was very stressful. Thankfully the week is over and in terms of logistics the rest of prep should be easy enough to manage… still tough but at least I wont be surviving on 4 hours sleep a night! I feel totally exhausted and I just need to catch up on my sleep as its getting me down. My workouts have been difficult to get through and I have experienced a few cravings this week for high sugar foods. In terms of how I feel about the prep I am feeling very positive. I have had several people comment on how much leaner I am looking and I am now 2 weeks into carb cycling following a 1 week zero carb week and wow how it has stripped the fat off me!! Mr C is also looking amazing and his body is changing every day, his progress certainly keeps me on my toes and I cant wait to see how we look in 6 weeks time when we hit that stage!!
Mr C: I’m now completely over illness and feel like I’m back with a vengeance! Workouts have all been done, and food is on plan. I’m starting to look like I’m approaching competition shape now, which is good timing-wise! Posing praactice is going well – that’s all coming together better than I expected, especially as I thought that would be my weakest area. Next week is just more of the same, though I do need to try and find time to do some of those “normal life” things that are getting pushed back (tax return)!!
