Mrs C: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Its 2016… the year we compete for the first time. Our schedules are set for the next 4 weeks and all our meals have been calculated for us. I am both nervous and excited about the next 16 weeks but I feel ready to start this next chapter in the fitness journey. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and finally its going to happen! I am anxious that I wont be good enough but I think that is normal so right now I am trying to focus on staying positive and putting the work in and I am determined to try to enjoy the process rather than see it as a chore. This is something I have chosen to do so I may as well have fun doing it!!
Mr C: Have a good 2016 folks! I’m partially looking forward to our competition prep (started today!) but also know what is ahead, so I know how hard it is! Still, I’m committed to doing it, and I want to do as well as I possibly can. During Christmas I’ve enjoyed the flexibility of being “off season” so I do feel like I’m mentally prepared to do it, and physically I certainly won’t mind feeling a little more “in shape”! So, the next couple of weeks are going to be very tough because it takes a while to get used to living that way again, but it’s worth it – I must keep telling myself that, hahaha!
